Interior Designer Licensure Bill is moving
Message from the IDLCPA:
**Interior Designer Licensure Bill is moving forward**
Rep. Curt Sonney has circulated a cosponsor memo asking for supporters to join him in supporting legislation that would allow interior designers who meet certain requirements to be registered with the Attorney General’s office, thereby allowing interior designers to submit interior construction plans to obtain permits without the stamp and seal of a licensed architect or engineer. Please call or email your Representative in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and ask them to consider signing on to Rep. Sonney’s legislation titled the Interior Designer Registration Act. If you are unsure of who your representative is, please click this link and enter your home address information:http://zipstickers.mypls.com/LookUp.aspx?cid=200030.
The very first person listed is your Representative in the state house. If you would like to view Rep. Sonney’s cosponsor memo, you can do so by clicking here: http://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/Legis/CSM/showMemoPublic.cfm?chamber=H&SPick=20170&cosponId=23419
