The IIDA PA/NJ/DE Chapter in collaboration with Corbett Inc. is offering a two-day intensive workshop to help you prepare for all (3) parts of the exam including focused sessions for the IDFX, IDPX and Practicum 2.0 .

This workshop will be led by a professional instructor from QPrep and will cover a review of the NCIDQ building codes, practice case study questions, handouts, a 40 question PRAC 2.0 quiz (usually $75) and many other things to help you feel confident in passing the exam. The class size is limited to 15 people on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Day 1 - Friday, 08/09 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM Overview

  • Introduction and general exam discussion

  • Discussion on new NCIDQ codes

  • Other usable information

  • Residential Case Study Sample Questions

  • Small Commercial Case Study Sample Questions

Day 2 - Saturday, 08/10 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Overview

  • Discussion of Residential and Small Commercial Sample Questions from the First Day

  • Discuss Large Commercial with Sample Questions

  • Take NCIDQ Sample Questions online with discussion

  • Discuss IDFX & IDPX, references, content and study suggestions

Note: All materials (including Q-Prep Handouts and IIDA notebooks) will be provided for individual use. Lunch and snacks will be provided for both workshop days as well. Participants should plan to bring their own pens, pencils, highlighters, calculator, scale and a laptop/table with charging cords.

About the Q-Prep instructor:

Cheryl DiMenna, ASID, CID received her Interior Design BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). While in school, DiMenna joined ASID as a Student Member and remained an Associate Member after graduation. She became a Professional Member of the Society upon earning her NCIDQ certification in 1986 and is a Certified Interior Designer in the state of Maryland. DiMenna played a pivotal role in activities that led to passage of original licensure legislation in Maryland. She has served on several committees for the Maryland Chapter, including the Nominating Committee, the Strategic Planning Committee, the Chapter Board for five years, and as STEP Chair for 26 years. DiMenna has been deeply committed to raising awareness of the NCIDQ Exam and emphasizing proper preparation at various colleges and student career days. She was an adjunct faculty member in the Interior Design Department at Harford Community College and has reviewed student portfolios at NeoCon East. Additionally, she has served on the ASID Foundation jury reviewing scholarships and awards for undergraduate and graduate students. She has taught STEP workshops for 18 years and has been a Q-Prep instructor since its inception in 2011.
